Haiti has a special place in our hearts.
Our granddaughters Angeline (age 8) and Kayleigh (age 9) were born there.
We remember so clearly when Kayleigh's Mommy and Daddy made the trip to Haiti and spent 10 days in Port au Prince. We don't need pictures to remember meeting them at the Houston airport returning with 10 month old Kayleigh in their arms! Nor do we need them to remember how God sent little Angeline into their lives!

From Rebekah's Facebook:
Kayleigh's orphanage sustained damage, the children are really scared but they still have food from a delivery this last weekend. The hospital associated with it sustained flooding but is open and flooded with injuries. I know this seems distant to many, but please pray for everyone including my girls' birth families who live right in Port-au-Prince. No word yet on the children from the sister orphanage."

Here's a link to a list of 4-star charitable organizations working in Haiti you can consider donating to:

And from me:
Here is a link that allows us to donate directly to the hospital and orphanage in Port au Prince that Rebekah mentions. They state that any funds directed to earthquake relief are rapidly and directly accessible to this orphanage and hospital, folks who in the midst of their own personal tragedies are working directly with many of the victims.
